First time playing with bath tub paint. I had fun. He doesn't look so thrilled. These were cheap paints and really didn't work well at all. I have a 'recipe' for homemade paint I'll be making soon.

From baby to a little boy :(

I was dreading giving him another haircut, even though I do it for a living. Last time I use clippers he hated it. This time I showed him how it worked and pretended to use it on myself and he was fine. Using scissors to cut the top was another story. He hates when I touch his hair. When he falls asleep I still need to touch up the edges. It looks a million times better. And it's been so hot he sweats like crazy.

Fair Time!

Monday night we took Levi to the fair for his first time this year (2nd total). And he got to ride rides for the first time! He loved it!

Our state fair isn't any good so we always go to the Wilson County Fair.

He wanted to walk and sometimes didn't want me holding his hand.

He loved the animals. Until the Sheep made him cry by making their noise.

His first ride! He loved it. We rode this train twice and then we rode the dumbo ride once. He was so mad that he couldn't ride on the little cars that went around. He wasn't tall enough :(  He walked over to it by himself and even tried going up the steps. Then cried when I had to take him away. 

He had hotdogs and loved looking at everything. They even had a dog show. He loves animals!

 He calls balloons pop pops. Some kids walking around had them and he kept pointing and saying pop pop but I had no clue where they gave them away at.

We're going back to the fair tomorrow night! Can't wait!

Levi's 1st Trip To Ohio!

This past weekend my mom, Levi and myself took a short trip back to Ohio. We didn't do anything fun like I was wanting. But we got to see family and everyone meet Levi for the first time!

We went to breakfast at Big Boy's! This is how Levi eats when we go to a restaurant. He will not sit in a high chair. And his first time with a silly straw.

 I played with this toy when I was little. He loved it. They don't make stuff like this anymore. I tried finding this on ebay but holy cow it's expensive since it's from the 80s.

We had lunch at Massey's with my aunt and uncle. The best pizza in the world. Levi loved my uncle Tom. He always picked on me when I was little and would tie my shoe laces together all the time. Levi kept smacking him with a fork. To funny!

Week of July 4th

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

The 3rd we went to Hendersonville and watched the fireworks with family. Levi loved it! On the 4th we went to my dads and had a cookout with family and tons of other people. They let off a million fireworks that lasted about an hour and a half. Levi was fine until the really loud high pitched bottle rockets went off. Because of his problems lately with his ears he started crying every time they went off so we took him inside. Other than that and the rain we had a blast!

18 Months!

Wish I would remember to update regularly!

Levi is 18 Months today! Time flies and he acts so much older every single day. It's crazy!

Mr Levi has been sick a lot this past 6 weeks. We've taken him to the pediatrician and ER numerous times. He was super fussy, not sleeping and just not acting like the happy baby I was use to. He kept getting ear infection after ear infection plus had a virus on top of it that would not go away! I am not a fan of his pediatrician and we will be finding a new one! We finally had to take him to the local urgent care and put him on the antibiotic shots that the hospital started a few weeks prior but his pediatrician refused to do. He is a million times better now! When we had taken him to the pediatrician 2 days prior to this he said it was just a virus, no ear infection, and to just give him tylenol. I knew this wasn't right hence the reason we went to the urgent care. 

Moral of the story: A mother's instinct is better than any doctors advice!

I was told to get a referral to an ENT but I'm hoping that this works this time and as soon as he does get another ear infection I will be calling asap! I've just been trying to be extra careful during bath time and swimming that I don't get any water in his ears.

Our breakfast routine. Watch cartoons, drink milk and eat cheerioes and throw them every where!

Lately Levi has been quite the little carnivore. He loves meat! He eats steak, any kind of chicken, hamburgers and just anything. Surprisingly it actually helps him not be constipated! Thank god because normally we had to use suppositories to help him go. He loves fruit. But is not a huge fan of veggies. He also loves pasta. He use to love any kind of cheese but lately will only eat mac n cheese. Another favorite is beans! He eats pinto beans, refried beans, and baked beans.

Still in size 4 diapers which we will probably be in for awhile since he's so little for his age.

He is almost walking. He can do it he just won't. We practice with him every single night he's just stubborn I guess. I really hope he gets with the program soon!

He talks like crazy. Repeats everything anyone says. Someone on tv even made a weird noise and he did it. Pretty funny.

He loves swimming, playing with his toys but especially loves cars and balls, loves being outside and loves climbing up and down the stairs. He is a pro and we rarely even keep the baby gates up anymore. Sounds scary but he is seriously that good at stairs. 

He goes tomorrow for his 18 month shots which we are just getting the shots and not having a 'visit' because I am not a fan of his pediatrician. He is leaving the office this next month. Thank god!

This past Tuesday we ended up taking Levi to the ER. The Friday before his grandpa watched him and when we picked him up that night he was congested and sounded awful.

My mom was watching him Tuesday night and said he just didn't wanna do anything. He was cranky and every time he would fall asleep he would wake up. And that his breathing didn't look good.

So instead of waiting until the next morning we just headed to the ER. They said he still had a double ear infection in his middle ear. And a virus hence the hacking cough and fever. He had just had an ear infection 2 weeks prior so apparently it never went away.

They gave him a stronger antibiotic and albuterol for his cough. He is soooo much better now! Last night was the first night he slept all the way through since Friday. Thank god cuz this momma was tired!

Yesterday he was playing with his sidewalk chalk. I noticed he had a blue mouth and he actually took a bite out of it! He is such a mess.

He is still talking like crazy. You can tell him a word or sentence and he repeats it. Last night my mom said See Ya Later! He repeated it and kept saying it.

If you ask him where his eye is, he shows you. Same with hair, mouth, nose, and ears.

I was also sitting on the couch earlier and he was trying to climb and he said Up!

If you give him a snack and he wants more he is still making the Hmm noise. I think it's cute. If he is in his car seat I can hear him doing it so I know what he wants with out even having to look.

And the biggest thing is he is finally showing interest in walking! Normally if you hold his hands to walk he would sit down and fuss. Now he laughs and smiles. He loves climbing. He goes out the door and makes an Ughh sound when he gets down.

Today is my nephews second birthday. His party is on Sunday!

Happy Mother's Day!

Today is my second Mother's Day. Time is flying by! Levi and Daddy got me a 90 minute massage with a foot rub. Plus I went shopping and on my next day off I'm getting a new fancy purse!

We went to dinner at a Japanese restaurant that had a Hibachi grill. It was Levi and Blake's first time!

Levi loves rice! He could eat a whole entire bowl himself. He also liked the ginger dressing they put on the salad. I thought he may get scared from the banging they do and the flames but he loved it.

Poor little boy went to pepaws the other day and came back with either a cold or allergies. Needless to say we haven't been getting very much sleep!

Tomorrow is his second day in daycare. This week he is going Monday and Tuesday. Can't wait to see his face when I pick him up. It is literally the cutest thing ever!

He is also turning into such a big boy. He can point and make a hmm sound when he wants his food. And he makes it known if he wants his drink or another bite. He also loves sitting on the couch to watch tv. He is really into his cartoons lately. Esp Henry Hugglemonster. Blake taught him how to go backwards down the stairs and how to put his feet down first to get off the couch.

Next Sunday is my nephews 2nd birthday party!
