Happy Easter!

Today is Levi's 2nd Easter!

We went to the same place we went last year. This was the first shot they snapped. After that he was kinda like what the heck am I sitting on and didn't want to do it anymore! 

Crazy how fast they grow!

Last night we had Easter dinner and an egg hunt for the kids at my dads.

He did good! He would get one and shake it to see if there was anything in it. If it didn't make a noise he put it down and went on to the next one! lol

Levi's Easter basket from us. He LOVES Reese cups! And I got him his sand castle stuff for vacation!

This afternoon we are having Easter here and then going to Blake's moms so I will have to post more pictures later!

Spring Time

The weather so far hasn't been to bad in Tennessee. Until tonight that is when we may get a dusting of snow.

Last week we got to go outside and enjoy the sun. This was technically Levi's first time touching the grass and he wasn't a fan!

He loves his car. And of course he has to have a balloon. He is obsessed with balloons lately. Anytime we go into the grocery store he knows they have them all over the place. And I always end up buying him one.

Lately Levi has been super chatty! He says random words all the time but says them clear as day. Earlier today he said 'somebody'. Daddy has been teaching him eyes, ears, mouth and nose. My mom said nose earlier and he grabbed his nose. This was before I knew daddy was teaching him. I thought it was hilarious. 

Last night I had him laying on the bed and he was playing with the tv remote and knew exactly which button to push to turn it off and on. He's a pro at his stacking cups and blocks. And he is such a pig! He's picky at what he eats but he can eat anything. No baby food here! He isn't walking yet but he's so close! We've caught him a few times standing alone by himself.

He is the happiest little boy ever! Always smiling and laughing. Bath time is his favorite. The only time he fusses is if mommy leaves the room or if he's tired.

In 27 days little mister will be here...

I am sooo excited. Most people have said they would never take a baby on a cruise but I don't see why at all. Disneyland to me sounds so boring. There's nothing a 15 month old can do there. He's such a water baby and loves being outside that I think he will love this! Maybe even more than me! This is my 6th cruise but Levi and daddy's 1st!

Carnival Ecstasy

We head to Orlando (Port Canaveral) April 21st. We leave the next morning heading to the Bahamas for 5 days! We're going to Nassau, Freeport and Half Moon Cay. I've been to 2 of the places already but Blake and Levi have never been at all. I can't wait!

Levi is ready!

We have 1 formal night and in the past 5 cruises I've been on I've only gone once. And since we never go out anywhere fancy I wanted to actually go this time and dress up. So Levi and I headed to the mall to find a dress.

I got tired of looking so I settled on this one from Macy's. It was originally $69 and the tag said $24.99 but when I went to pay it rang up $14.99! Not bad for something I will only wear once.

On the way out of the mall someone stopped me to tell me Levi was missing a sock. Story of my life! This kid never keeps his socks on. There was no hope in finding the sock. It's long gone!

 Then we headed to DSW to find shoes to match my dress.

I found these on clearance and then I had a $10 off coupon for being a rewards member so I got these for $2.16! Score!

That's pretty much all the excitement around here.

Levi is so close to walking. He stands like a champ and if he's holding onto something he can walk but he's not quite there. He has 6 teeth in the front and 2 molars came in. We thought he was cranky a few weeks ago from teething but he ended up having an ear infection. Worst thing ever! So cranky. He eats like a pig. No more baby food! Except for his gerber snacks. His favorite thing to eat is rice, beans, mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. And he use to hate bananas but now he loves them. He likes biting a chunk off. He's still in size 4 diapers. He can still fit in most of his 12 month clothes but they are getting tight! I wish warm weather would hurry up because all of his 18 month stuff is t-shirts, tanks and shorts. He loves the water! He splashes like crazy and soaks the floor. He loves to lick the water. I can't wait for vacation. He is going to love it! He talks a lot and yells. He says more words but it's mostly baby talk. If he wants something he grunts and looks at it or points.  He's always happy and smiling unless he is in desperate need of a nap. He loves cartoons! In the morning he sits in his high chair and eats his cereal bar and watches them.

Smart boy lol The only time he gets a bottle is if he has milk. It's just easier to put it in that to heat it up a little. Some days he doesn't even use it but if he does need it it's to get him to sleep.

I kinda forget to blog most of the time. Oops.

Levi has been super cranky lately and Wednesday morning he had a low grade fever. I figured it was just teething since his back teeth are now coming in but I made a doctors appointment and got in within an hour. And I'm glad I did because he has his first ear infection. I thought a teething baby was cranky. Oh no! I sick baby is awful. He would cry constantly. Didn't sleep good at all! He became very clingy. He always wanted to be held. Every day is a new learning experience!

Talking about clingy. This is what happens when I'm in the shower. He stands there and pulls the curtain back which gets him soaking wet. So I ended up giving him a bath. He LOVES bath time and could sit in there all day and play.

He's also sneaky. Glad I just changed the bag! He loves any kind of ball. He carries them around everywhere and now he stands at the trash can and throws things in it. No telling what I may or may not have thrown away.

I think we were eating and he decided to stand at the table and eat too! lol

Playing like a big boy

This is what Levi made us for Valentine's Day. We both had to work so he stayed with my sister in law and she made this for us. So cute! And I still have it hanging on the fridge.

The next month is going to be busy! In 2 weeks were moving to a bigger town home and then April 22nd we are staying in a condo on the beach in Panama City! I'm excited to relax for once.

I've also lost 9.4 pounds plus gained muscle. And can fit in single digit pant size again! Finding time to go to the gym is super hard these days but I want to be healthy for the future so I make time!

13 months

I haven't updated in forever because our laptop decided to jump off the couch. I have a tablet but it's super hard to blog from so we just got a new one!

 

Levi update: He's still in size 4 diapers which will be moving up to size 5 soon. He has 6 teeth and working on 8. He's not on formula anymore and the only time he gets a bottle is at night if he needs it to fall asleep. He baby talks up a storm. Sometimes he even repeats things you say. He's still not walking but does pull himself up to stand. He loves little girls or anything with a face on it.

He also has a bouncy ball collection. He crawls around on the floor always carrying one in each hand.

He has probably 12 balls now.

 

His favorite toy at the moment besides the balls is his hippo popper. He flips it over and moves it all around. And pulls on the popper part in the middle to stop it.

 

He also has quite the personality. He knows when not to do something. He gets up close to it and if you tell him no he looks at you and touches it anyway. He has the funniest laugh. He can even fake laugh but the other night in the bath tub he was splashing water and our dog was licking it off the side of the tub. He decided to splash her and thought it was the funniest thing ever. He has one of those deep belly laughs.

 

He eats pretty much anything and everything. He's a little pig. Last night we went to dinner and he made a girlfriend.

They even held hands. She must like Mickey Mouse. Yes I take my son out in his pjs.

 

He also got a new car. I was planning on getting him this in the summer but I found it for $10 so I had to get it.

 

We are planning to go on a cruise in April. I've been on 5 and I don't think I've ever seen a baby but I've read reviews where people have taken them and they said it was better than taking them on just a normal beach vacation so we shall see.

 

I feel off the bandwagon of working out but Jan 1 I started again. I've lost 6.5 pounds in the first month and I've also been lift weights so no clue how much muscle I've gained. I should reach my goal by the time we go on the cruise. Hello bikini! I can notice a huge difference already and I'm super excited!

Big Boy Stuff

Levi is officially off of formula! Yay! Never thought that day would come. He is cutting more teeth. The last week his sleep schedule has been way off. I've never been so tired in my life :(

He still isn't walking. He stands holding something. The other day Levi was in the middle of the floor up on his knees like he was standing. Blake looked over and he started waving at him. Hopefully he'll start walking soon. He's getting good at 'talking'.

Anytime I'm eating something he wants it. I was eating a banana and boiled eggs for breakfast the other day and I had to give him some. Normal I just take a piece off and put it in his mouth but I let him bite it. He makes the funniest faces.

This past Saturday we had Levi's 1st Birthday Party at Chuck E. Cheese. And I will just add...Never again! That place is a nightmare!

I didn't think he would want anything to do with his cake but he did!
